Composed primarily of former members of the great band, Son del la Loma, Los Soneros pay a tribute to that group and its founder, the late Armando Sanchez, who dedicated his life to the maintenance of Son. This is the music of the countryside and the mountains, based on the Clave and Tres, with the trumpets toasting the top. The overall feel is one of comfort and dignity; it is easy to dance to and is guaranteed to leave you with a warmth of feeling that is Cuban to the core.
